A reusable production brief and sample record
Keep a manufacturing request, open questions and sample decisions in a clear sequence.
Describe the product category and the outcome you need. List materials, dimensions or sizes, colours, finish and packaging where relevant. Explain which specifications are fixed and which you want the manufacturer to propose. Add only drawings, references and files you are entitled to share.
State the indicative production quantity, target timing and whether you first need a sample or development discussion. Ask the manufacturer to separate confirmed details, assumptions and unanswered questions in its reply.
Use the production enquiry on TR.MODA to send this brief to the selected company. When a sample is discussed, record the version, changes, approval responsibility and the remaining checks. A complete brief supports a precise response; it does not confirm a factory's capacity, a final quotation or production approval on either party's behalf.
