From a runway reference to a clothing production brief
Turn runway inspiration into your own garment brief that a supplier can answer.
A runway look can prompt a design conversation, but it is not a manufacturing specification or permission to copy a design. Start with your own garment type and intended customer. Attach your own sketch or a reference you are entitled to share, and explain which details are essential. Describe the desired fabric composition, fit, size range, colours and decoration. If a detail is not decided, say so.
State an indicative quantity and the date you need samples or an initial production answer. Ask separately about sampling, minimum quantities, available fabrics and the information the factory needs to quote. Do not describe a target price as a confirmed offer.
